With great food, drink and a close-knit community on your doorstep, people round here have big appetites and even bigger hearts

The world’s your oyster in this part of town. There’s culture care of the Bernie Grant Arts Centre, great independent shopping and no end to the green space on offer at Walthamstow Wetlands, Markfield Park or community garden (and Way of Life partner) Living Under One Sun.

 In search of a serious watering hole, you’re also spoilt for choice. Beavertown brewery is a stone’s throw away, as is The High Cross (a great Sunday roast pub) and buzzy late night hangout, The Cause. If you’d prefer something more serine, head to Table 13 or Emile Wines for vino and charcuterie on tap.

Don’t forget to surprise your taste buds either, with Nigerian tapas at Chuku’s or Neapolitan pizza at True Craft.

The Sessile is well connected as it is only a four minute walk from Tottenham Hale station (Victoria Line, Zone 3). Residents can reach Kings Cross in just 15 minutes, London’s West End in just over 20 minutes, and there are direct links to Stansted Airport by train.
